After having had my bike for it´s 11.000 kms tune-up in November, I haven´t ridden it through winter, just let the engine run from time to time, letting it warm up idling. Having it taken out of the shed again two weeks ago, it started up properly and did well in the mid-range, acceleration as normal etc.
Trying to go faster than 100 kph however, there was hardly any acceleration anymore, and the speedo only climbed up to 120 kph (145 kph normally).
At my Suzuki shop they told me, the petrol had become "versulzt" (jellyed) in the carb during winter, so it probably needed cleaning.
Any hints how to do it? I am not willing to spend money again on the shop, they made a mess at my wallet after for the tune-up.
